FAQs:

Q: What is the benefit of Rubbing Polishing? Who is it for?
A: Rubbing polishing is beneficial for cars which are older than 1 year. This service focuses on exterior thorough cleaning and machine polishing the painted parts, glossy parts and lights. This removes dullness, light to medium scratches and restores new like looks. It is an ideal choice for people who take good care of their car.

Q: Will all scratches be completely removed?
A: This service focuses around 90% scratch removal. Some scratches which have cut the paint cannot be removed. Scratches which you can feel by finger nail are not worthy of chasing(repeated polishing to remove it completely) as it takes significant material removal (paint thickness reduces).

Q: Won’t it reduce paint thickness?
A: Short answer- Yes, it does. However, the materials used for this process are such that it removes a very fine layer of paint- thin enough to remove light to medium scratches. This is the reason we always say that the scratches that can be felt by finger nail are not worth chasing. We understand that a car may undergo rubbing polishing in many scenarios such as- repainting, part of a package, another protection service purchase in which rubbing polishing is performed as a part of process etc.

Q: How long does the polishing effect last?
A: It depends on usage and maintenance. Proper washing and care can help retain the shine for a longer time. Whatever touches the car for cleaning for example wash mitt, sponge, towel should be clean. Wax coated dusters are a good choice but they should be cleaned and reconditioned when they get heavily clogged with dust.

Q: I’ve heard scratches come back after 2–3 months. Is that true?
A: No — scratches don’t “come back” after proper rubbing & polishing. Rubbing & polishing permanently removes existing scratches and dullness by correcting the paint surface. However, new scratches can appear over time due to regular use and improper washing methods. To keep your car looking freshly polished for longer, follow safe washing practices and apply wax or sealant periodically. For long-term, low-maintenance protection, Ceramic Coating is a better upgrade, as it helps to keep the shine intact for longer.

Q: Does this service include paint protection or coating?
A: No, this focuses on correction and gloss enhancement. However, you can upgrade to Ceramic coating with additional cost and time.

Q: How long does the process take?
A: It usually takes 6 to 10 hours depending on the size of the car and condition of the paint.

Q: Will this remove water spots on glasses?
A: No, glass waterspot removal is covered under separate service.

Q: Do you clean the interior as well?
A: Basic interior cleaning is included to give an overall refreshed feel, but it is not a deep interior cleaning service.
